Faysal Qureshi Biography

Faysal Qureshi is a handsome actor, model, and host. He is a by-born, an excellent performer, and is a great singer and writer. From dancing to acting, in these whole years in the entertainment industry, Faysal Qureshi is unmatched. He has also become a producer in 2017. Faysal is one of those artists who have played almost every kind of role, whether on TV or movies. Faysal Qureshi has always been an incredible performer and reigns in the hearts of people. He is among the highest-paid stars in the showbiz industry.

Family and Education

Faysal was born to Afshan Qureshi and Abid Qureshi on 26 October 1974. His parents also belonged to showbiz. Mother Afshan Qureshi is a popular television and film actress and father; Abid Qureshi was the principal of Govt. City College, Hyderabad. Besides that, many of his relatives are connected to the showbiz industry of Pakistan. That is the reason we say that his ability to act is God gifted. Faysal has only one brother as a sibling. His name is Imran Qureshi, and he is the leading Pakistani painter, who has won the Lux Style Achievement Award in Fine Arts.

Faysal completed his school in Lahore and is graduated in Graphic Designing from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. He completed his degree during his career.

Early Career 

Faysal Qureshi started his career in 1985 as a child artist. Andhera Ujala on PTV was his debut drama on television. Later he worked again in a PTV drama Emergency Ward. From here, his career started, and it has not ended yet. He played his first leading role in Boota in Boota from Toba Tek Singh in 1999. This role gave him publicity, and people acknowledged him. Earlier, he was playing minor roles.

As we told you, that leading role of Boota gave Faysal Qureshi fame. After that, he performed many dramas, and this versatile actor never ended. Meri Zaat Zarra e Benishan in 2009, which was written by none other than Umaira Ahmed and its OST, was sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan breaks all records of popularity that people still remember that. He performed as Aarfeen with Samiya Mumtaz.

Faysal Qureshi Movies

Faysal made his debut film Saza in 1992. He did not work in movies after that. We saw his second movie in 2013. He showed up in Aina as Nadeem, which was a remake of Aina 1977. The versatile actor then appeared in Good Morning Karachi as Shahvaiz in 2015, Manto, as Asim 2015, Laloolal.com as Asim in 2016. 

Telefilms and Other Appearances 

The skillful actor worked in telefilms. They include Independence Day special telefilm Mutthi Bhar Mitti 20019 (Hum TV), eid special telefilms Babies Unlimited (Geo TV), and Nass Balliye (ARY Digital) in 2009. He has appeared as a guest in different talk shows, including Jeeto Pakistan on ARY Digital and Bol Nights With Ahsan Khan on Bol Entertainment.

Apart from these, we saw him in a comedy sitcom Main Aur Tum on ARY Digital in 2012. He had done guest roles in some dramas, as well.

Hosting Career of Faysal Qureshi

Faisal Qureshi hosted a reality show Hero Bn’nay Ki Tarang. We have seen him another reality show Dum Hai Tou Entertain Kar in which he was playing as a judge. He also hosted a morning show Muskurati Morning on TV One or which he has also won an award. Nowadays, Faysal is hosting a morning show Salam Zindagi on ARY Zindagi with Aadi and Fezaan.

Marriage and Kids

Faysal married for thrice. He had not been lucky in this matter of life. Faysal married the first time when he was only 18. Unfortunately, this marriage did not last and broke up after seven years. He has a daughter Hanish Qureshi from the first wife. Hanish lives with her father in Karachi. He married again after three years, yet it did not last more than a year and resulted in divorce. He is the father of a son from his second wife, who lives in America with his mother. In 2010, Faysal married Sana Qureshi for the third. Both are living happily, our prayers for them. They have a cute little daughter Ayat Qureshi.

The list of the awards that Faysal Qureshi has won includes Best Supporting Actor for Wujood-e-Laraib on 1st Indus Drama Award, Best Drama Actor for Main Aur Tum on First Pakistan Media Award, Best Morning Show for Muskurati Mornings on second Pakistan Media Awards, Best Host on 2nd Pakistan Media Show Awards, Best TV Actor for Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan on Lux Style Awards 2005, Best TV Actor for Roag on Lux Style Award 2012 and Best TV Actor for Rang Laaga on Lux Style Award 2015.
